The Certification Process

The I-CAR Welding Training & Certification is a one-of-a-kind training program which includes a capability and readiness assessment, course training, practice performing welds, and a certification test. The certification test ensures the essential knowledge needed to perform high quality work on the latest vehicles and requires a renewal every five years.
